This week we spend time looking difficult passages and disappointments as we look at the reasons some of Jesus’s followers left after hearing some difficult lessons in John 6:56-69 week read for us by Rev’d Roger Stubbings. We look at the importance of faith even with difficult passages and discover what Jesus does – and doesn’t do – in these situations when it gets hard. Reflections this week are from Phil Robinson and Michaela Barker and our welcome and opening prayers are brought by Rev’d Karen Hilsden. Music is provided by The Midge Hall Singers, Matt Beckingham and Worship Lyric Videos. We focus on prayers for the victims of the Earthquake in Haiti and the people of Afghanistan.
